❍ Characters are aware that Tea's heart is being threatened by CORRUPTION.

❍ If you're in the same run, you can interact!

❍ Unit abilities are MIGHT BE ON — if, and only if, Tea has seen them work or your character has explicitly told her about them — unless otherwise specified.
Nothing Up My Sleeve can't access locations outside of the heart.

❍ Canon abilities MIGHT BE ON —if, and only if, Tea explicitly knows that they're a thing — unless otherwise specified.

❍ Characters have whatever was on their person at the time, including their cell phone!

❍ Over the course of the heart, characters are very likely to be afflicted with STATUS EFFECTS. This will be OOCly determined by dice roll. You can have more than one status effect at a time, but multiples of the same don't stack.

The top levels that require a roll will have a note.

Each time you move to a different top level thereafter, you can roll 1d10 to see whether the effect lingers (1-6) or fades (7-10).

The lights are too bright; the mirrors are dazzling. The air is stale and cold, tainted with a coppery tang. Something has been scratched into the floor.

There's only one button: down.

I hope you were ready for the elevator to plummet BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT IT JUST DID.

… But then it slows, catching itself (and you) just in time; you'll be bruised, but not like, smashed. The door creaks open a few inches. If you want to get out, you're going to have to force it.

The scent of blood is far stronger down here.

The hallway ahead is long and dark, with cold sterile lights that flicker on and off. You can't tell where it might lead you ...

There's an alcove on your left.

Inside is a crystal statue of Miya's dragon form in mid-lunge, wings fully spread and teeth bared. Blood red vines tangle around it.

You're collapsed in a heap in your enclosure, listening to the door open. They think you're unconscious. Sedated. Safe. You're not.

You hear the group of humans trudge towards you. Eight of them, most chattering. They're scientists, interns. One guard, it sounds like. They call you "it" and "the subject" and they're here to take samples of your blood. One is complaining about the broken coffee machine in the break room. Two are murmuring together about how wild it is to be so close to a dragon, wow, it's kind of scary, right — nah, mate, it's tame, it won't hurt humans, haven't you seen the videos? Cold fury curdles in your gut.

It's the owner of that last voice that says, laughing, Watch, I'm gonna take a selfie with it. That leans against your shoulder, bold as brass.

What do you do?

Your physical senses are all so much stronger than they were a moment ago! It's really cool! You can pick up even the tiniest of noises, in both higher and lower frequencies than a human ever could. You can see in the dark! You can see more colours.

On the other hand, it's a lot of sensory information to process! You might find yourself getting a headache.

... or maybe you just immediately shake that one off. maybe.
