King. Aibou. Summons a permanent small-to-human sized spirit familiar from the user's heart, which means they ultimately share a health pool. However, it IS capable of tapping into a special power all its own. By default, it does 1d8 damage, but if you decide to use its special ability, then it does 1d20. Osiris. Thunder Force. His mighty roar manages to reach the heavens, a terrible storm manifesting overhead, from which he can summon a murderous bolt of lightning. If your target isn't dead following his attack, then have them roll 1d6 to try to avoid being paralyzed their following turn. *This can only be used once every other turn.
Hiryuu. Aibou. Summons a permanent small-to-human sized spirit familiar from the user's heart, which means they ultimately share a health pool. However, it IS capable of tapping into a special power all its own. By default, it does 1d8 damage, but if you decide to use its special ability, then it does 1d20. Tsubaki. Meteor Swarm. Her mighty roar manages to tear at the scenery, a maelstrom of blazing debris swirling overhead, from which she can summon a devastating fiery meteor. If your target isn't dead following her attack, then have them roll 1d6 to try to avoid being burned. If they get burned, then roll an additional 1d8 damage. *This can only be used once every other turn.
K. Inequivalent Exchange. Changes the size of an object ( making it larger or smaller ) or changes the property of an object ( making it something its not ). In order to pull of the second you'll need the item or material you intend to use to change the *other* item or material. For example, if you approached a glass window with a piece of paper, then you could theoretically change the window to paper, so you could more easily break in.
Intensity. Personal Assistant. Gives the user up to three small-to-human sized robot sidekicks, which the user is mentally connected to, so the more the user chooses to have the more of a toll it'll take on them. Each robot can do 1d6 damage. It's also got the added bonus of coming with a Polymerization Magic Card. HOW MYSTERIOUS. ***If the mysterious Polymerization card is used when the user has all three robot sidekicks out, then they can merge together Voltron Style to form the Ultimate Dragon, who is a little less than two stories tall. Each head is capable of doing 1d12, but you must roll for each individually.***
Raven. Nightmare Vision. Inflicts upon someone a vision of their CURRENT course of action/suggestion/etc going wrong, except that, now, it's no mere vision, and it's capable of manifesting for some physical fuckery in addition to the mental fuckery. Abnormal targets cannot be insta-killed using NV, but they can absolutely be bound, stabbed, etc.

[ he says as he goes back to whatever he'd been doing prior to your abrupt and unscheduled arrival. ]
[ if you look to your phone for help it seems to be having a couple of connection issues, but with its dying breath it manages something, and you receive a list of objectives. ]
[ 📵ERROR 📵ERROR 📵ERROR is all you'll get if you try to do anything other than text each other, but, hey, at least it makes a pretty okay-ish flashlight... ]
[ feel free to take a moment to yourself a look around, but do be careful, because you did just die and you're no doubt feeling all sorts of aches and pains; particularly in your chest. ]
a lot to take in here, between her phone instructions, the room, that game over message she keeps seeing behind her eyelids... she is Deeply Concerned. She's going to try to talk to the desk attendant. ]
Excuse me, but--who are we waiting for? Is it Dva?
[...well okay, he's died before, it's not like that's new. he rubs at his chest, looking around, eyeing the demon for a beat longer then goes to check his phone and the information]
[ the office is full of a number of strange decorations, trophies, and souvenirs from other parts of hell. if checked they're simply a part of the background, so they can't be touched or further investigated. the desk; however, is littered with stuff that looks ripe for the snooping... though the desk chair will absolutely spin around if you get too close and then you'll have the assistant boring a hole straight through you with her mismatched stare. ]
[ as soon as she's able she'll bring everybody up the stairs and into her city, 림보. it's almost pitch black, but the assortment of obnoxious neon pink, purple, and blue signs plastered all over the place are more than enough to light the way here and there. something that may or may not come as a surprise, depending on how much you know about d.va, is that there's an alarming number of flowers growing, plants rooted, and vines climbing every which way. the greenery does nothing to impede the perpetual nightlife, but only acts to enhance it; almost bringing some semblance of normalcy to this underground hell. ]
[ it's also positively bustling with life, with demons of all shapes and sizes coming and going as they chatter among themselves in a language that sounds sort of similar to korean, if you've ever heard her speak it. in the low light you can also see that all of them have scaling that's eerily similar to her own. ]
It's pretty sweet, huh? [ she smiles, proud. ]
[ karaoke bars, dance clubs, gaming lounges, korean restaurants, specialized markets, and assorted novelty shops line the streets. ]
[ YOU CAN... EXPLORE SOME MORE, GO FURTHER INTO THE CITY, OR GO BACK INTO THE WAITING ROOM. ]
[ the atmosphere in the arcade is electric, what with all of the flashing colored lights and the sounds of the different games creating a pleasing background hum. demons are bustling about, chanting & cheering or ranting & raving as they play or watch attempts made on the top scores of their favorite games. ]
[ there's a huge scoreboard at the back that lists all of the games on it and who, currently, holds the top score. it shouldn't come as any surprise that DVA shows up a number of times, and that most ( if not all ) of the demons are effectively trying to bump her down from the coveted top spot. ]
[ as you enter the coliseum one of the first things you'll notice is that the racetrack isn't your run-of-the-mill racetrack, and is instead full of odd twists, turns, and loops which might normally seem impossible by realistic standards. there's an enormous shop to the right for vehicle construction, maintenance, and customization, because regular cars won't cut it in a course like this. attached to that is a multi-level garage to house all of the cars for the racers. ]
[ a sign sitting just inside shows all of the upcoming races, but it also boasts a bunch of records, most of which are unsurprisingly held by DVA. the roar of the crowd is almost deafening... so there must be a race going on. you can't get any further inside without paying, so will you...
PAY & GO INSIDE, GO BACK INTO THE CITY, OR ????? ]
[ the museum is full of all sorts of stuff that should kiiiind of paint a picture explaining the collapse of the previous demonic regime. as soon as you enter you’ll be met by several different mechs, all cobbled together from what you can definitely recognize as some of d.va’s vehicles. a small plaque sits in front of the largest and says, “the enemy of my enemy is my friend.” ]
[ there are a couple of paintings depicting the fight, glorifying it mostly, as you do, but if you stare at them for too long the colors start running out of them and onto the floor… until a sudden glitch sends them all back into place, as if nothing~ ever~ happened~. ]
[ portraits of asmodeus and lilith hang nearby, and in front of them is a display case containing their skulls in an elaborate floral arrangement… though it’s kind of hard to tell if this was intentional or not. ]
[ after that sits a few different sized chunks of a number of shining & shimmering buildings that could have probably lit up the entirety of the room on their own. a plaque reading “고인의 명복을 빕니다.” sits in front of a piece you might recognize from the liar hotel. it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise, but the alliance with the liars was short-lived. a few paintings are scattered around the debris, once again illustrating a big battle, but the tone is noticeable darker and more grim… ]
[Looks like this place might be able to tell him more about what this place thinks it's doing so FINE let's start here. Yes, the game center is probably also a valid avenue of research but. Later.
[K stares at a painting a moment too long, trying to place the people in it and oh god MY EYES that was a bad idea.
[Display glitches. Should have figured this wouldn't be anything as simple as crepe-paper flowers.
[ if you continue along you'll notice that things are starting to deteriorate. the, once, vibrant colors are all growing significantly more dull, there are tens of hundreds of cracks splitting the wall, and with each and every step taken the floor becomes less stable... until eventually it's just not there anymore. ]
[ but the hall continues, and there IS a lone pedestal on the other side though. ]
[Stupid question, but can he still walk on this or is he going to have to level up if he doesn't want to fall through the world and have to watch it slowly receding into the distance?
[ if you take the stairs you'll find yourself in the hall of fame, a room filled with all of the artillery used to GO★FIGHT★WIN. a banner hangs in the center of the room, and right behind it sit five mechs. each has a complimentary colored spotlight on it and each has a plaque with its name and its pilot. ]
[ all of them look like they have literally been through hell, having taken a thorough beat down, but that's not to say that they hadn't also gotten to chance to deal it back double. they may no longer be in commission, but it sure is neat to see a piece of history, huh! ]
[ if you continue to poke around you'll find her classic™ heart weapon rotating in a glass display case. ooh. aah. a table sitting next to that contains a spearhook, a colt revolver, a katana, a pair of butterfly knives, a switchblade, a couple of flashbangs, a couple of grenades, and a whip. pretty much all of the stuff she's bought for herself, sans the cannon. ]
[He's going to spend an entirely way too long a chunk of time in here just looking at the mech suits because, come on. Mech. Suits.
[And then he's going to take a look at the weaponry. Is any of this stealable because he could. probably use the butterfly knives if it came to it, can't be too different from the tiger claws.
[ as you near this part of the city traffic gets a little bit lighter. and by a little bit lighter i mean a lot lighter. in fact, it all but disperses, making this area eerily quiet. some sparking interrupts that, and if you do a little investigating you'll come across a number of busted signs littering the front of one particular alley. stick around long enough for one ( or more ) of them to flash and you'll be able to see an excess of gangly roots pouring out of some distant, dark void. brambles have spread up the sides of the nearby buildings like wildfire, strangling them, as otherworldly things, alerted to your presence, watch you carefully. ]
[ GO FURTHER INTO THE FOREST OR GO BACK INTO THE CITY? ]
[ the smol tentacles can ( and will ) attack the moment someone or something steps into their alley. however! as long as you keep moving you cannot be hurt. roll to get through. if you fail, then they snare you, and you have another turn to make a save, but this time with a -1 modifier. if you fail again, then you take 1 damage. ]
[ the forest falls dead silent, and the only thing to be heard is your own footfalls should you continue forward. thanks to all the bioluminescent plant-life it's not too difficult to navigate, and besides tripping over the occasional root or getting smacked by the occasional branch you eventually manage to find your way to the center to discover this completely. normal. tree. ]
[ on closer inspection it’s easy to see that it’s alive; the blue, pink, and purple gems all pulsing with each and every breath it takes. if you get too close the gnarled roots will creep and crawl closer, lashing out at you in an attempt to dissuade you. ]
[ buuuut they really can't do much to keep you from getting any closer, besides, of course, the occasional smack, so if you've got the health to spare, or you just don't care, then you'll have no trouble getting up closer & personal with the gems. if you stare into one of them long enough it's possible to see snippets of a memory involving you and d.va. something as mundane as a casual conversation to something as intimate as a sexual encounter. anything and everything is here, though the majority do seem to be ~*~fun~*~ stuff, like most notably... cuddling with king on the beach, horseback riding with hiryuu, cat play dates with duality, amusement park thrill-seeking with k, the constant back&forth fighting for supremacy with intensity, and reading & discussing poetry with raven. ]
[ on even closer inspection, when the gems aren't distracting you, it'll be possible to see a number of them are lousy with cracks and on the verge of shattering ]
[ the hotel looms over the city, casting its shadow on everything within reach. it also seems to be the only building that's completely free of plant life, what with the flora stopping abruptly at its edge, as if someone or something is keeping it at bay. or, perhaps, it's just because its set so far back, that it simply can't flourish. who knows and who cares! there are a couple of lights on towards the top, but that's it, leaving the rest of the building completely dark and relatively unwelcoming. ]
[ btw, she's absolutely looking for her heart. BUT IT WILL HAVE TO WAIT, because the moment she decides that, yes, this place absolutely sucks is the moment it decides to retaliate. ]
[ the ground shudders, inevitably breaking apart and jeopardizing the foundation of what seems to be the city, itself. the hotel to her back dips to the left as the few lights that had been on flicker uselessly. a series of monstrous and twisted brambles burst forth and snare d.va immediately. they burrow into her, skin stretching and splitting as pink blood trickles out from each and every lesion. slithering deeper, they finally reach her hollow chest cavity and knot, swelling until dozen of thorns skewer her from the inside out. her scream is clipped as she drops to her knees and doubles over, body contorting as she starts to undergo her corrupted transformation. emphasis on corrupted. ]
[ something appears overhead and starts flashing wildly as some music starts up. ]
BATTLE MECHANICS. ( I shamelessly stole this from the Impocalypse Event; Mods ilu. ) Look here for an example!
🎮 This is a turn-based fight. PCs will take their turn, the boss will react, and then the boss will take their turn. Players will react and take their turn, and so on and so forth.
🎮 You may take one action per turn, in addition to a single dodge. You can use your actions to attack a target, use an ability/boon, make a second dodge, or run like hell. An Aibou and a Personal Assistant can make their own action(+dodge) separate from their users.
🎮 With every action/attack/blow/dodge/whatever .roll 1d6. This dice determines whether the aforementioned succeeds or fails, with 1-3 as fail and 4-6 as success. If you're attacking ( and you already rolled successfully ) then roll a second dice to determine how much damage you'll inflict on the boss. Lots of abilities and weapons use different dice, so if you're confused, then just ask me ♥. Anyway! please include both numbers with your comment on your turn.
🎮 GREEN TEXT can be dodged, but RED TEXT is guaranteed damage.
[ as soon as the boss is defeated it collapses, its grotesque and distorted form liquefying into a lisa frank™ hot mess. d.va, now 'herself' again, is laying in the goopy mess. that hasn't stopped the world around everybody from continues to crumble though, and it's as if the very fabric of this reality has been jeopardized. ]
[ she groans, smothering a hand into her face to muffle the sound as she sits up. ] …thanks for that. [ ... ] Ew! [ she reels back from her own hand in disgust to frown at the gore. she's still got a gaping hole in her chest where her heart should be, but she doesn't seem to care... because this place is falling apart!!! ] Iiii think we should probably get the hell out of here...

[ a sign sitting just inside shows all of the upcoming races, but it also boasts a bunch of records, most of which are unsurprisingly held by DVA. the roar of the crowd is almost deafening... so there must be a race going on. you can't get any further inside without paying, so will you...

the museum.

GO UPSTAIRS,
OR LEAVE. ]
Re: the museum.
[All right. Let's go forward.]

Re: ...going forward.
[Stupid question, but can he still walk on this or is he going to have to level up if he doesn't want to fall through the world and have to watch it slowly receding into the distance?
[Let's, uh, throw a pebble. See what happens.]

[ there's La Princesse Sereine | CASINO,
Beast | D.MON,
Tokki | D.VA,
Singijeon | KING,
& Mastermind | OVERLORD.
Re: ...going upstairs.
[Also is there anything long in here?]

the forest.

[ on closer inspection it’s easy to see that it’s alive; the blue, pink, and purple gems all pulsing with each and every breath it takes. if you get too close the gnarled roots will creep and crawl closer, lashing out at you in an attempt to dissuade you. ]
(2/2)
[ on even closer inspection, when the gems aren't distracting you, it'll be possible to see a number of them are lousy with cracks and on the verge of shattering ]

the hotel.

BOSS BATTLE.
( I shamelessly stole this from the Impocalypse Event; Mods ilu. )
Look here for an example!
🎮 GREEN TEXT can be dodged, but RED TEXT is guaranteed damage.

the aftermath and the... end...???
Re: the aftermath and the... end...???
King bolts and crouches down beside her, heedless of the neon pink goop, and tries to help her sit up. ]
