Yvette's super fun spy simulator: Session I

Objective: Convince Yvette to leave the Ideal World.
The following is ICly known:

• Unit abilities are off :)
• Yvette is actively trying to sabotage players
• One tactic is making interaction "pay for play," using memories, specifically those of Yvette. (max 5)
• After 5 memories have been exhausted, false memories will be implanted
• Planted memories will not be accepted as Payment.
• Alternate Payment is negotiable, but the player will lose whatever they give her
• Use of force is highly inadvisable, and the condition for success is extremely low. Failure will result in a false memory.
• Your smartphone works, and can be used to document inconsistencies in the Ideal World.

tl;dr The more evidence you collect, the more convincing you are; memories can be used to unlock certain things, but if they run low, you get mindfucked (probably).
All things lost or received during the game will be reversed upon waking or within one IC day, at player’s discretion. The character does not know this ICly.

You wake up sitting at a desk, in front of a totally “State of the Art” *(in the 90s) computer workstation. A message pops up on the monitor:
Congratulations! You’ve been selected to participate in an assessment of your talent in the ~illustrious and exciting field of espionage~
While this line of work requires a lot of sacrifice, it is our hope that you are not deterred by the challenge.
After all, giving up the familiar does not always constitute a loss, and there is a wealth of knowledge at your disposal. So learn as much as you can!

The sunlight shines brightly above you, and you find yourself in a grassy field... at least that's how it looks at first glance, but it seems to be pieced together tiles of astroturf.

Yvette is wearing a military uniform, and is holding a clipboard.

You enter what looks like a grand library, with large, high windows and a sweeping staircase to the second floor. The bookshelves are full of books to browse.
Yvette is seated at the front counter, reading a book.

Dressing Room

The Dressing Room is full of every imaginable outfit, and they all happen to be just your size! How convenient! The room all but encourages you to play dress up though even the fabric that looks like lush velvet or fine silk feels like cheap polyester.

Resting on the makeup table, is a script.

BREAK TIME

The décor sparkles with rainbows and hearts in unnaturally bright, oversaturated colors. It’s so happy! Cheerful! Cozy! Kindly disregard the oversugared, artificially fruity fragrance which hangs in the air, as heavy as the plush pillows and blankets piled all over the place. Just ignore the chemical undertone of plastic that seems to lodge itself in your nose. It’s fine, really.

Beneath one of the blankets, you hear a rustle.

Then, another.

And another.

The blanket lump closest to you makes a noise. You hear:

• "Arf! Arf!"
• "Mew mew~"
• "Noo...lah!"

Casino Party!

Viva Las Vegas! The cigarette smoke in the air is thick enough to make someone gag, and the bright lights and louder colors are disorienting in the worst way. Even though the crowd of people is made of cardboard, the casino is full of raucous laughter and merriment. Yvette is naturally working at the bar, alternating between doing magic tricks and slinging drinks.

Practice Room

Oddly enough, the Practice Room doesn't house anything to hone any other skills you may have picked up along the way. What you'll find are endless art supplies, some completed Paintings, and a Piano.

Boss Battle

You arrive to the soft rush of waves and the quiet hiss of fine sand beneath your feet. The colors are soft and transparent, like a faded watercolor painting. The sea is made of sheets of paper that disintegrate and flow around anything in its path, gentle as water. As it ebbs away, it leaves everything it has touched completely dry.

Standing on the shoreline is Yvette, in a razor sharp skirt suit in black and claret red, her hair slicked back into a severe bun. Her smile is unpleasantly smug, like a certain Producer who shall not be named. In fact, one gets the impression that if you blamed her for all your misfortunes and heaped all your hatred upon her, she would welcome it gladly. After all, she has been against you since you arrived, wasn't she? Wasn't she the one who cut your beautiful dream short?
